Non-governmental organizations are better able to respond to local needs and to develop programs that challenge both themselves and the entire local community thanks to the consultations, workshops, information campaigns and innovative programs conducted by BORIS in many local communities.

BORIS aims to increase its effectiveness, the scope of its influence and the stability of its activities. We strive to incorporate the best institutional and organizational experiences of the groups with whom we work. In doing so, we want to implement those programs and initiatives which best meet the needs of non-governmental organizations.

Since BORIS began operating, we have learned a great deal and included hundreds of people and organizations in our activities.

BORIS is active locally, as well as regionally, nationally and internationally. The goal of our efforts is to support the development of local organizations, and through this, the evolution of small local communities.

We owe our success mainly to active individuals, their activities, ideas and visions - people who are willing to address the challenges facing non-governmental organizations. Together we have the knowledge, skills and experience. And now is the time to act together.

We are not alone in our aims. We work with various partners, with people who work in non-governmental organizations, representatives of local governments and national authorities, private foreign foundations. We endeavor to develop effective strategies and mechanisms of cooperation with each partner within the context of a variety of programs. All our programs are geared toward strengthening non-governmental organizations, influencing the decision-making process of the public administration, activating the local community and encouraging activities for the public good. In summary, our strategy is directed towards working together will all sectors of society. In this way, we can ensure the comprehensive development of non-governmental organizations and create a friendly environment for the growth of community involvement and better meet the needs of society.

By working with our partners, we endeavor to mobilize the efforts of private enterprise, government officials and social leaders. Posing questions, mobilizing people, developing mechanisms of local support for organizations - investing in that which is BORIS.
